New Delhi: India aims to develop into a “strong and independent” country that is full of peace but “fully able to provide a full reply whenever challenging”, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said on Friday.
The full armed forces handle every challenge that endangers the safety, security, unity and integrity of the state, said the Minister, while marking a series of events to mark the 75th anniversary of Indian independence celebrated as ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’.
Noting that the decision that aims to promote ‘gloom’ among the armed forces will play an important role in strengthening the national security infrastructure, Singh said that there were no stone missed to make independent countries in manufacturing.
The dependence of the state on imports has decreased far because the steps taken by the government, including telling two ‘positive indigenization’ lists to promote exports of independence and defense, he added.
The Head of the General Bipin Defense Staff, in turn, said that the armed forces were ready to face every challenge, emphasizing that efforts were taken to increase the sustuation between the soldiers, the Navy and the Indian Air Force would further improve their combat skills.
Among the events marked by the Minister of Defense was an expedition by the Army team for a scale of 75 Mountain Passes.
This includes Saser La in Ladakh, Stakpochan in Cargil, Satopanth and Harshil in Uttarakhand, Phim Karnla in Sikkim and 4493 Point in the Arunachal Pradesh Tawang area.
