India allows Boeing 737 Max to fly again

New Delhi: The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) on Thursday allowed Boeing 737 Max to fly in the Indian airspace again, after carrying out the safety modification needed.
Boeing 737 Max Planes is based globally in March 2019 after two crashes in 5 months.
Recently, these planes were allowed to fly back by regulators from various countries as well as the US, EU and UAE – after undergoing hardware updates and the software needed for safety.

Furthermore, the European Flight Safety Agency (EASA) also issued its own ad on February 17, 2021 which was mandated by DGCA for compliance with the Indian registered fleet.

It also allows offlying maxes that are modified above Indian airspace.

DGCA said it had carefully monitored the global trend of the Un-Ground of Max.
