India and Germany signed a pact for improving skills in the solar sector

Jaipur: Rajasthan Solar Association and Deutsche Gesellschaft Für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH signed an agreement on Tuesday for the development of skills in the solar segment with the help of workshops and training programs to be conceived and carried out by professionals.
The German Vocational Education and Training Program (IGVET) under GIZ GMBH is a joint initiative from the Ministry of Skills and Entrepreneurship Development (MSDE) and the Ministry of Cooperation in Germany (BMZ).
Implemented by GIZ, this aims to improve the skills of the Indian workforce.
This program is inspired by the German multiple training system, which emphasizes the active role of the private sector in providing high-quality training opportunities, on-thejob.
The RSA in relation to GIZ has designed a series of initiatives in the coming years for the development of skills in the solar segment.
Suman Kumar and Sunil Bansal, President and Secretary General of the RSA assessed the GIZ’s executive regarding the RSA initiative to start the Skills Development Institute along with the solar industrial stakeholder center in BAP in Jodhpur with the assistance of the state government.
