New Delhi: India and Vietnam naval exercises in the contested South China Sea on Wednesday, as part of the deployment of Indian warships in progress to the region.

The Indian warships arrived in Cam Ranh on 15 August for “phase of the port” and other professional interaction between the two navies, said Navy spokesman Commander Vivek Madhwal.
