New Delhi: India has asked Pakistan through a diplomatic channel to allow Srinagar-Sharjah flights to first use airspace which remembers greater interest in ordinary people who have booked tickets on this service, said government officials on Thursday.
The development came after Pakistan on Tuesday did not allow Srinagar-Sharjah flights to use the airspace, forcing him to take a longer route and fly over Gujarat to achieve his goal in the UAE.
Going first, who was previously known as a Goair, has started a direct flight between Srinagar and Sharjah from October 23 and this service was inaugurated by the Minister of the house of Amit Shah during his visit to the Valley last month.
According to officials, until October 31, Srinagar-Sharjah-Srinagar services will go through the Pakistani airspace.
