Bengaluru: Scientists from the Australian National Science Agency CSIRO and BITS-Pilani, a Premier Institute in India will collaborate to use drugs for Covid-19.
Pharmaceutical Bits and Scientists ‘data will work with CSIRO researchers and the Monash Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (Australia) to make the database united, disturbed and can be searched for’ Open Access Drug ‘held by the Griffith Institute for Drug Discovery facility’ in Queensland, Statement shared with TOI.
CSIRO and Future Future Australia’s recent medical announced the AU $ 1.7 million initiative to use the biological system approach and engine learning on the stem cell derivative panel from human networks for fast-approved drug screening.
Bits Pharmacy Professor S Murugesan, who is a CSIRO Project Partner investigator, and a Vili Agarwal science colleague, looking for research Fellows to join this initiative, the statement added.
This project was led by Professor SS from India SS Vasan, who was the leader of the CSIRO project for Covid-19.
Stating that in addition to vaccines, there is an urgent need for Covid-19 treatment that is safe, effective and affordable that specifically targets the virus, Vasan said: “Great strategy to find potential care is to use other drugs that have been approved for other diseases, But the current method for doing this is expensive, time consuming and not suitable for the purpose.
“New initiatives, he added, will enable scientists to develop multi-network drug screening tools, which are tailored to infection by SARS-COV-2 and all variants of their concern , which can help rapid drugs for phase II and III clinical human trials and minimize the need for animal trials.
