“There is a tradition of the Vedic time that assumes all of your India.
This love for this land that we treat as our mother’s mother and all those born here as our brothers, our brothers and sisters Which can stop India grow at the desired speed.
Sometimes we feel 75 years have passed but if we wake up like this, then everything will be fine in the next 15-20 years, “he said.
Bhagwat said that the way the community should move forward after independence does not occur but if you leave the ego and make basic sensibility and affection, one can achieve a faster development.
After presenting award here, when the Head of the RSS began to walk towards the Dias to provide the address, the hall began to echo with the slogan ‘Jai Shri Ram’.
Bhagwat waited a few seconds on the Dias for sloganeering to end but when it continued, he intervened, said service work could not be done by just increasing the slogans and he officially began his speech.
“In service work only enthusiasm is not enough, awareness is also needed.
This service is not only about the maintenance of the slogan, someone actually has to do the job,” Bhagwat said before starting his speech.
“There is nothing wrong with shouting Jai Shri Ram but someone must try to act like him too,” he added.
The Head of the RSS also quoted an example of an individual who sought assistance from a spiritual leader for the election ticket from political parties while ensuring the seizure doing service work afterwards.
“For service work and welfare of people, you do not need authority or strength and it should not be done for fame.
