On Wednesday, Collegium recommended their name to the center of their appointment as a SC judge after completing the formalities associated with the frosted judges.
If the government accepts recommendations and appoints all the recommended names, SC will have the work force of 33 judges against the strength of sanctions 34.

SC will also have four female judges, including SC Judge Indira Banerjee, who is the eighth female judge who was appointed for SC after Judge Fathima Beevi, Sujata Manohar, Ruma Pal, Ranjana Desai, R Banumathi and Indu Malhotra.
The nine choices were completed for an appointment because Judge SC did not include two names that deeply insisted by Justice R F Nariman, who retired last week and almost stopped the judge’s election for almost two years.
Born on October 30, 1962, Justice B Venkataramiah Nagarathna has registered as an advocate on October 28, 1987 in Bangalore.
He was appointed as an additional judge from Karnataka HC on February 18, 2008 and was made as a permanent judge on February 17, 2010.
In the appointment as a Judge SC, he would have a term until October 29, 2027, which would include one-month mastery and six days as the first woman CJI .
He may succeed in justice Vikram Nath, who will retire as Cji on September 23, 2027.
