New Delhi: India and China agreed in the previous round of the Corps Commander’s talks to keep in touch and maintain dialogue through military and diplomatic channels to resolve resolutions that can be received by the remaining problems related to the LAC in the earliest West Sector, the external ministry said on the day Friday.
Asked about the deadlock of the border with China, an external ministry spokesman Arindam Bagchi said, “As you know, the 14th round of the Indian-Chinese corps commander meeting was held on January 12 this year.
Both parties agreed that the resolution resolution of the earliest problem would assist in the recovery of peace and tranquility along the LAC in the West sector and enable progress in bilateral relations.
“Both parties agreed to stay in touch and maintain dialogue through military and diplomatic channels and compile an acceptable resolution that can be accepted from the earliest problem , “he said.
In this context it was also agreed that the next round of the commander level negotiations must be held earliest, Bagchi added.
The East Ladakh border deadlock between the Indian and Chinese military erupted on May 5, 2020, after clashing violence in the Lake Pangong area.
