New Delhi: 14th round Corps Corps Commander The level of talks between India and China which took place at the Chushul-Moldo meeting point, on the Chinese side, lasted for about 13 hours on Wednesday, said the source.
The meeting ended around 10:30.
The source added that India was represented by 14 Corps Chief Lieutenant General Anindya Sengupta.
New Delhi and Beijing have been involved in holding talks on the actual control path in the east region of Ladakh to complete the deadlock.
So far, 13 rounds of talks have been held.
The main push from the Indian side is for the heat-springs friction point resolution that appeared after last year’s Chinese aggression.
While working to build peace in the area, New Delhi also maintains a high level of preparedness to thwart all lesaround by enemy forces.
Its development has been made in terms of roads and habitats for troops.
Head of the Indian Army General Manoj Mukund Naravane on Wednesday said that the army would continue to deal with PLA China in “firm, firm and peaceful” on the northern border and has maintained the highest level of operational readiness in the region.
Overcoming a press conference here, he said there had been a positive movement in terms of releasing at several friction points with LAC on East Ladakh.
