New Delhi: India and China will hold discussions about pending border problems today.
Talks will be held under the mechanism of work for consultation and coordination in Indian-China border matters (WMCC).
The three main friction points have emerged between the two countries including Lake Pangong Banks, Heights Gorry and the Heat Source Area following Chinese buildup along the actual control line in East Ladakh.
Through several rounds of conversation, both parties had resolved the problem involving Pantong Tso and Gogrry Heights Points as troops had been released from there.
India and China held a 13th round of the Indian-Chinese corps commander meeting last month.
India said that it expects the Chinese to work towards the initial resolution of all the problems left in the LAC on the East Ladakh.
