New Delhi: India has reached the milestone of the history of the dose of 150 crore vaccines to its citizens, said Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday.
The Prime Minister said that India began a new year in a high tone by expanding the ambitious vaccination to include children in the bracket aged 15-17.
“Within 5 days, more than 1.5 crore children have been given a vaccine while more than 90 percent of Indian adult populations have received the first dose,” PM said.
“This is a large amount in terms of statistics.
It is not surprising for most major countries in the world.
This is also a symbol of Indian citizens’ capabilities 130 crore.
This is a self-confidence symbol and independence,” said PM.
He spoke in the inauguration of the second campus of the Chittaranjan National Cancer Institute (CNCI) in Kolkata West Bengal.
PM Modi emphasizes that from testing to vaccination, infrastructure created by India is witnessed as an example of battle stars throughout the world.
“We planned tirelessly to improve health service facilities & infrastructure for rich & poor for a safe & safe future,” added PM.
Meanwhile, PM also said that under PM-Jay, more than 2.6 Crore cancer patients had received their free care at hospitals throughout the country.
PM said that more than 5,000 health and health centers had begun in Bengal added that around 11 doses of Covid vaccine crore have been given free to the state by the government.
“More than 1500 ventilators and more than 9000 new oxygen cylinders are also given to the state.
49 PSA new oxygen plants have also begun to function,” added PM.
