New Delhi: Indonesia has transferred Brazil as the country currently recorded the number of highest fresh Covid-19 cases in the world while India has fallen to fourth place after being followed by Britain.
Indonesia reported 3.24 lakh cases in the last seven days ended Friday, a 43% increase over the previous week.
Brazil’s count reached 2.87 lakh, with England close at 2.75 lakh, according to the worldometer.info website that tracks the number of global covid.
Indian numbers have fallen a little faster this week than the last.
It reported 2.69 lakh new cases in the last seven days, a decline of 8% over seven days earlier.
