Jammu: The border security force proposes “strong protests” with Rangers Pakistan about “increased drone activity in the Jammu area” during the sector commander meeting in Suchetgarh, along the international border in the Jammu area.
It was the first sector commander meeting between two border guard forces after the declaration of the ceasefire agreement earlier this year.
During the meeting, it was also decided to energize the return of instant communication between the field commander, whenever needed, to resolve operational problems.
“The meeting was held in a friendly, positive and constructive atmosphere.
Both parties agreed to implement the decision expedition taken at previous DG level talks and also committed to maintaining peace and harmony along the international border,” BSF spokesman said.
“During the meeting, the commander of the two border guard forces discussed various problems, with the main emphasis by the BSF delegation in the activity of Drone Pakistan and digging tunnels by Pakistan, in addition to other problems related to border management,” he said.
