New Delhi: India formulates standards for the service sector so that the country can have high service quality to be offered to the whole world, trade and Minister of Industry Piyush Goyal said on Saturday.
He said that India quickly developed cross-sectors such as health care, home delivery, telecommunications and technology.
“In India, we formulate the standard for the ecosystem of services so that we can have the very high quality of service that we offer to the whole world.
India also developed rapidly to become one of the largest digital markets in the world, both Fintech, Edutech and Telemedicine,” said The Minister at the Summit of the Second Indo-US service IACC-NIC.
Speaking of legal services, he said Indian lawyers were upscale and had a great opportunity to open up to them throughout the world.
“We can ensure that we can provide adequate protection for lawyers in lower courts and larger ecosystems in the legal profession but we will definitely be involved with you (experts) and other figures and I think we have established a committee with the Ministry of Law To check this problem in greater details, “he added.
Furthermore, Goyal said that the US is the center of innovation, technology, research and quality education, while India has a skilled and intelligent workforce at competitive prices.
The total export service from India to the world is $ 17 billion in 2001-02 and has now jumped to $ 205 billion at 2020-21.
“As I see, our service sector will be far more resilient, reliable, strong and will be at the forefront of economic recovery in the post-covid world,” he said.
