New Delhi: The Indian Badminton Team on Wednesday handed over a comfortable draw in Thomas and a rescheduled Uber Cup final, scheduled to be held between 9 and 17 October in Aarhus, Denmark.
The Indian men’s team has been beaten with defending Chinese champions and Dutch small fish and Tahiti in Group C, while women will be challenged by the last edition of Thailand, Spain and Scotland in Group B.

The top two teams in each group at the end of the group stage will reach the knock-out round.
Indian men and women’s teams failed to reach the knockout stage in the last edition in 2018.
The Indian women’s team had lost to Chinese champions in the semifinal stage in the 2016 Uber Cup edition.
They also reached the semifinals in the New Delhi edition of 2014.
Host Denmark, who has claimed the Thomas trophy in 2016, was put into group B which was challenging with Korea, France and Germany.
Indonesia, who has won the Thomas Cup 13 times, is in Group A with China Taipei, Algeria and Thailand, while the last edition of Japan runner-up is in Group D with Malaysia, Canada and England.
In the Uber Cup, defending champions Japan were in Group A with Indonesia, Germany and France, while Group C featured Korea, Taipei China, Tahiti and Egypt.
China, which has won the tournament 14 times but failed to make the final in 2018 for the first time since they began to participate in the 1980s, being in Group D with Denmark, Malaysia and Canada.
This event was originally scheduled to be held from May 16 to May 16 but was postponed until August 15-23.
Then delayed further until October due to Covid-19 pandemic.
