Barcelona: Indian Grandma S Sthuraman (ELO 2644) collected 7.5 points from nine rounds for emerge winners based on better tie-break scores after Danil Yuffa from Russia was also completed with Indian players.
In the ninth and last round played at the end of Thursday, Sethuraman defeated Hakobyan in a catalan closed variation game.
Sets, which is the top seed, remains unbeaten through nine rounds, winning six matches and draws three.
He finished strongly, scored a win in his last three rounds, including above Indian and Aram Aram Hakobyan and Armenia.

Sethuraman obtained 8.5 points Elo thanks to the victory while Murali (Elo 2606) added 6.4 points.
Sets and Murali have drawn in the fifth round.
Murali won six matches, drawing two and went to Hakobyan in the sixth round.
He finished equal to seven points with four others, including fellow Chithambaram Aravindh India, but won third place based on a better tie-break score.
In the final round, Murali defeated WGM R Vaishali in 30 steps.
Chithambaram took the fifth place while Arjun Kalyan (6.5 points) ended nine, followed by Visakh in 10th position after several players finished with 6.5 points.
India International Master N R Vignesh and Vaishali scored six points to complete 15 and 16 each.
