New Delhi: India has a proud place on the world map because of the border security force (BSF) and other paramilitary forces, said the Ministers of Uni Amit Shah at the 18th BSF investment ceremony on Saturday.
“I pay respect for those who have made the highest sacrifice.
Bravehearts & Warriors cannot be forgotten.
India strengthens its position, and has a place of pride on the world map because of our BSF & paramilitary forces protecting Borders,” News Ani quoted Shah said.
In his speech, Shah praised those who had made ‘the highest sacrifices’ for the country.
“Border security is national security.
We have many challenges.
I have full confidence in our paramilitary forces.
Under PM Modi, we have an independent defense policy, which warns those who challenge our sovereignty in the same language,” he said.
Amit Shah also talked about the key role played by BSF in stopping human rights violations in East Pacism (now Bangladesh).
“In East Pakistan, human rights are being abused.
Women are tortured.
BSF troops play an important role and now Bangladesh is an independent country.

Shah said that the problem of border security was pushed forward when the Government Atal Bihari Vajpayee was formed.

“The BSF investiture ceremony is being celebrated since 2003 in the memory of the first Director General, Padma Vibhushan KF Rustamji, legendary and one of the most famous Indian police officers in India known as the Founder of BSF,” BSF said in the statement.
