New Delhi: Indian business sentiment Inc.
is getting closer to the pre-pandemic level, signaling stronger performance in the next quarter, according to a survey by Grant Thornton Bharat.
A survey, with more than 3,700 respondents crossed the digital platform, found that transparent taxation had become one of the most significant initiatives from the government followed by incentive schemes (pli) related to production, and new labor codes.
“From being careful to be optimistic, Indian business sentiment Inc.
is getting closer to the pre-pandemic level, indicating a stronger performance in the next quarter,” said Grant Thornton Bharat in a statement.
While half of the survey respondents felt a bad pandemic had had a severe impact on the economy, 60 percent of them said the tax reduction and compliance could help revive the business.
Government initiatives have also played an important role in helping the economy recover.
Six of the 10 respondents felt that tax reducing and compliance expenses would help revive the business, posting the second wave.
Uptick in direct expenses, followed by additional liquidity infusions and increased FDI flow, respectively, also some other aid packages that feel respondents can help increase cross-border and domestic trade.
This survey signaled global and domestic optimism related to revenue in 2021.
