Ahmedabad: National Highway is being built at a very fast speed under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and all countries can expect to get a highway from American standards in the next three years, the highway union and the Minister of Transportation Jalan Nitin Gadkari said on Saturday , He also said that the 38 km of the road was being built every day now compared to just two km per day in the past.
Gadkari on Saturday was almost dedicated to the country 3.75 km from the corridor which was elevated by four lines of 3.75 km in Desesa City from Banaskantha together with the Minister of Home Unity Amit Shah and Chief Minister Gujay Rupani Vijay.
By stating that a large number of road transportation projects and the Ministry of Highway were underway in Gujarat under Bharatmala Pariyajana, Gadkari asked Kupani to resolve the issue of land acquisition to accelerate the rate of infrastructure development.
“National highway grows at a very fast speed under Modiji leadership.
In the next three years, the entire country will get an American standard highway, so I believe.
At a time we are building two km road per day, and today we are currently Build 38 km per day, “he said.
Gadkari said the Ministry of Highways had carried out many projects in Gujarat, including 1,080 km (road construction) worth Rs 25,370 Crore under Bharatmala Pariyanajana.

He said the national highway project in the area of Saurashtra Gujarat, as requested by the Union Minister Parshottam Rupala, will start “only when the problem of land acquisition is difficult to resolve by the Gujarat government.” He did not describe further about projects that were influenced by land acquisition problems.
In particular, aggrieved farmers have approached the Gujarat High Court challenging their land acquisition for certain projects, especially on compensation issues.
Gadkari said his ministry would launch 1,080 km of road projects worth Rs 25,370 crore in Gujarat under Bharatmala Pariyanajana- road and highway projects aimed at building a highway from Maharashtra, Gujarat, Haryana, then cover all a series of Himalayas.
He said construction work from Delhi-Mumbai Expressway also moved at a fast speed, where Eight-Lane Vadodara-Mumbai Expressway was part.
Gadkari said the stretch of 125-km which connected Vadodara to Kim in South Gujarat on an investment of Rs 8,711 Crore will be completed in December 2021.
“This toll road will prove to be a big gift for the rear tribe and area of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat.
The highway will bring Industry and trade that will benefit farmers.
The toll road will work as a growth machine and will definitely take Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan to the growth path, “he added.
Gadkari said the work in the economic corridor Amritsar-Jamnagar had begun and the Prime Minister had been asked to take the time for his breakthrough ceremony.
Some of the 109-km Dholera-Ahmedabad Expressway, which is being built for RS 3,000 Crore, will be given in October 2021, he said.
Gadkari also said that the six national highway lanings between Shamlaji and Chiloda will be completed in December 2021 and four lanings from the highway between Varsala and Bhuj in March 2022.
