India is ready for all possibilities: army head about Chinese border problems

New Delhi: India wants peacefully complete the confrontation of troops for 20 months in East Ladakh with China through dialogue but is ready for military if the encouragement conflict in the country and will “emerge win” from it, said General MM Naravane Wednesday.
Emphasizing that the whole “threat” along the line of 3.488 km from the actual control (LAC) “did not diminish” despite the “release of partial forces” in East Ladakh, Gen Naravane said the Indian army would continue to deal with the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) in “a company , firm and peaceful to ensure the sanctity of our claims “.
While expressing hope that the remaining friction points in East Ladakh will be resolved through sustainable dialogue, Gen Naravane said his troops also maintained the “highest level of operational readiness” after the main augmentation of the level and forced infrastructure throughout the things to overcome all possibilities.
“Our capabilities have increased multiply in the last 18 months.
We are now in a position to deal with anything thrown towards us in the future.
Conflict is always an instrument of the last effort.
But if it is forced, we will appear as winners.
Not There is a question that the status quo, as there is now, can be changed through the use of strength, “he said.
The Indian armed forces also “more than enough prepared” to deal with the military consequences or Fallout of the Chinese New Land boundary law which tried to formalize their claims along the LAC.
“The law does not tie us.
It cannot be legally maintained, or in accordance with our bilateral agreements in the past.
Therefore, we did not accept it,” said Gen Naravane.
The main custom press conference ahead of the Army day on January 15 coincided with the 14th round of corps commander talks between India and China on the Chushul-Moldo border in East Ladakh.
There is no official word about the results of marathon talks until the end of Wednesday night.
India has pressured China to restore the status quo because it was on April 2020 before PLA captured Indian troops off-guard by making several attacks on East Ladakh.
But China has so far refused to resolve even the release of troops that were jammed in Patrolling Point-15 (PP-15) in the HOT Springs-Gographical-Kongka area, especially discussing the more important Demachok and Depsang.
The head of the army said the current focus was PP-15 stand-off.
“To expect the results on each round of talks that don’t make sense.
We hope we will be able to complete PP-15.
After that, we can go to another problem (Depsang and Demchok) who do the pre-date stand-off now,” he said.
Asked specifically by TOI if the LAC has turned into another control line (with Pakistan) with the spread of permanent forces, Gen Naravane said that gathering Chinese big forces in East Ladakh is the “root cause” of the current situation.
“Now they are there and have made a lot of infrastructure, it still has to be seen whether they will permanently put ourselves there or whether they will receive a kind of de-induction of troops in the future,” he said.
Until PLA follow the violation process, de-escalation and de-induction, “we also have to stay there as long as they are needed,” he added.
Army, meanwhile, has been “enhanced adequately” the level of strength in areas where release has not occurred.
“The assessment of threats and internal deliberation has resulted in reorganizing and struggling strength, in accordance with the army mandate to ensure territorial integrity, and to serve the main augmentation of PLA forces, and military infrastructure,” said Gen Naravane.
