Chennai: India must maintain his health to deal with the possible impact of “uncertainty and upheaval” of the current period, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said on Saturday, in a real reference to the liquid security situation in Afghanistan after the Taliban confiscated it almost two weeks ago.
He said there was a need to remain vigilant at any time remembering the changing regional scenario and that India could not remain untouched by developments throughout the world.
In a address after dedicating the coast guard ship established here, he also explored the challenges that appeared in the Indian Ocean, a region that had witnessed the increasing competition between India and China.
“Changes that occur throughout the world are often a problem for us.
We, as a nation, must keep our guards high during the period of uncertainty and upheaval throughout the world,” Defense Minister said by further.
His comments came in the background of increasing concerns in the establishment of Indian security for the possibility of an abundance of terror from Afghanistan to Jammu and Kashmir through Pakistan and rose in terrorist activities, especially by groups such as Lashkar-e-e-Mohammed.
Defense Chief of Staff Bipin Gen Rawat on Wednesday said the Contingent Plan was handled firmly with the possibility of terrorist activity flowing out of the Taliban-controlled Afghanistan to India.
“Today the world changes very fast.
Economic, political, and trade relations between countries continues to fluctuate.
There is nothing that can be said about the next news from other countries,” said Singh.
“Obviously, our country cannot remain untouched by this development.
This applies to a country like us, becoming a country whose interests are directly connected with the Indian Ocean,” he said.
The Indian Ocean, the main geostrategic room and considered the rear yard of the Indian navy, watching the increasing Chinese military trail forcing the Indian Navy to expand its presence.
Singh describes the Indian Ocean region as the main route not only for India but for the whole world because it is home to more than two-thirds of oil shipments, one third of bulk cargo and more than half of container traffic.

Therefore, we need to be vigilant at all times,” he said.
