NEW DELHI: Congress chief Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday said India wants quick and total vaccination rather than the BJP’s”manufacturer of lies and rhyming slogans” to pay the vaccine shortage brought on by the administration’s inaction.
In addition, he alleged that the government was attempting to conserve the picture of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, efforts which are easing the virus and also costing people’s lifestyles.
His comments come as huge sections of India seem to be emerging in a crushing next tide of Covid-19.
“India needs rapid and total vaccination- not BJP’s standard new lies and rhyming exemptions into cover-up vaccine shortage brought on by Modi Government’s inaction,” the Congress leader said on Twitter.
“GOI’s constant efforts to conserve PM’s bogus picture are easing the virus and dividing people’s lives,” he further added.
Gandhi also labeled a report which the government dropped the gap between both dosages of AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine with no arrangement of their scientific team that it stated had advocated that the increase.
