New Delhi: With the remaining Indian and Chinese forces left along the border at the East Ladakh for the second winter in a row, India increasingly increases the supply of logistics and stocking to high altitude regions.
Towards the end, Together Airlift exercises called ‘Hercules Operations’ were carried out by IAF and troops on Monday, with five C-17 Globemaster-III aircraft along with IL-76 and AN-32 aircraft from Chandigarh and other places to Ladakh .
“The aim of high intensity airlift is to strengthen logistics supply in the northern sector and to increase winter stockings in the operational area,” said an IAF officer.
