Jaipur: At least 2,000 police officers, including 350 from the Traffic Department, will take care of law and order, security and traffic arrangements for the first T20 match between India and New Zealand which will be held at the SMS Cricket Stadium here on Wednesday.
Traffic Police Jaipur has introduced several diversions and has forbidden vehicle parking in several areas close to the stadium.
DCP (Traffic) Shweta Dhankar when handling a press conference on Monday sharing details about traffic plans during the match.
Traffic arrangements in Jaipur “350 our traffic police along with 2,000 police officers Jaipur will keep more than 100 points outside the stadium for better traffic management during the match and until the time the team arrived and left the stadium,” he added.
He added a dedicated parking lot including the SMS investment ground, Amroodon Ka Bagh, Kathputli Nagar and several others have been made for people who come to watch the match.
“We have also introduced some redirects during the match.
Our team will ensure people live traffic and parking rules for the match,” he added.
