New Delhi: India today requested a commitment from the global clean energy community to access to fuel, chemicals, and sustainable materials to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and achieve global climate goals as one of the mitigation steps, the Ministry of Science and Technology said on the day Wednesday.
Overcoming the 26th Climate Change Conference of the Party (COP26) for the initiative of the last night’s mission innovation, the Minist of Science & Technology, Dr.
Jitendra Singh draw attention to the efforts made by India & the Netherlands along with members of the innovation mission in advancing innovation of Mission 2.0 through This newly developed mission “Integrated Biorefineries” was launched on that occasion.
The Minister said, India, through “innovation of mission”, was actively involved in collaborative efforts to cemeterize the objectives of innovation that inspired that would lead to affordable and increased clean energy solutions.
He welcomed the global clean energy community to make every effort to ensure global involvement in this mission to achieve the universal goal of a timely mission.
Dr.
Jitendra Singh said, through the innovation of mission, India with the Netherlands aims to take advantage of its extensive experience in research and innovation, support for the initial ecosystem, international collaboration, through the launch of “BioreFineries’ integrated missions”.
He said this mission brings together a dynamic country alliance and focuses on shipping, the private sector, research institutions, and civil society to accelerate innovation in fuel, chemicals, and renewable materials for low-carbon future.
Overcoming the Minister, CEO and Senior Representatives from the Government and Private Sector, said Dr.
Jitendra Singh, greenhouse gas emissions from the transportation and chemical sectors contributed about a third of global emissions and projected to increase.
He told that India through the Biotechnology Department has promoted R & D in sustainable biofuels including sustainable flight fuels.
The minister added that the development and demonstration of biorefinery technology for fuel, chemicals, and sustainable materials can help accelerate the development of bio-based solutions and must be at the forefront of our efforts to create a sustainable carbon future for temporary welfare communities as well as environmentally friendly.
