India provides 100 tons of nano fertilizer to Sri Lanka

Colombo: Two Indian Air Force aircraft carrying 100 tons Nano Nitrogen liquid fertilizer landed in Colombo on Thursday.
Taking to Twitter, the Indian High Commission in Sri Lanka said that the delivery was a response to the call by the Sri Lankan government for urgent support in yawning nano fertilizer.
“On the day #deepawali, the led festival, # IndianairForce once again brought Ray of Hope to #Srilanka.
Responding to Gosl’s call for urgent support in the nanofertilizers of # India, 2 @Ief_MCC aircraft arrived at #Colombo carrying 100 tons of products today,” The Indian High Commission here tweeted.
Nano nitrogen liquid fertilizer imports came several months after the decision of Sri Lanka Gotabaya Rajapaksa in May to stop importing chemical fertilizers.
Sri Lanka faced severe fertilizer lacks after the prohibition.
India has stepped up to accelerate the supply of nano fertilizer to Sri Lanka.
