New Delhi: When India marked a one-year drive of Covid-19 vaccination on Sunday, Dr.
Balram Bhargava, DG ICMR said that the country was able to provide vaccines to more than 100 countries in accordance with our ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbam’ philosophy.
Speaking to Ani during the launch of the warning post stamp on the original kovagin developed by marking a one-year drive vaccination, Dr.
Bhargava said, “This is the world’s largest vaccination drive.
We have provided more than 156 crore doses in a year and are in years.
Able to provide vaccines to more than 100 countries in accordance with our philosophy ‘vasudhaiva kutumbakam’.
“This is very satisfying for our country that we do not need to ask any country for vaccine doses,” said ICMR officials talking about the omicron Coronavirus infection variant, he said , “We are in the midst of the Omicron variant.

Minister of Health of the Union Mansukh Mandaviya, who almost attended the event, was told that around 70 percent of Indian adults had been fully vaccinated against Covid-19 while 93 percent received the first jab.
“The drive was launched on January 16 last year with health workers inoculated in the first phase,” Minister of Health said.
“Today is an important day for us because we have completed a one-year drive vaccine.
The world is amazed by our vaccination drive and more than 156 crore doses given,” he added.
Mandaviya congratulated in India to cross 157 Covid-19 Crore vaccinations in just one year and said that the country had emerged as an example in the world in the war against Coronavirus infection.

India began a national Covid vaccination drive on January 16, 2021.
