Jammu: India on Saturday filed a strong objection to the Drone Activity by Pakistani authorities in the Jammu area at a sector commander meeting between Pakistan’s border security forces and Rangers.
The commander of the two border guard forces discussed various problems with the main emphasis by the BSF delegation in Pakistani drone activities, terrorist activities and extracting tunnels from all borders and other problems related to border management, BSF spokesman said.
A very strong protest was submitted by the BSF delegation regarding the drone activity by Pakistani authorities in the Jammu area, the official said.
At the same time, both parties expressed their commitment to maintain peace and harmony at IB, officials added.
“It was the first sector commander meeting between two border guards after the declaration of a ceasefire agreement by DGMOS (in February),” said the spokesman.
“The meeting was held in a friendly, positive and constructive atmosphere and both parties agreed to the rapid implementation of decisions taken in previous levels of DG talks and committed to each other to maintain peace and harmony at IB,” he added.
