India received the initial delivery of the Russian S-400 system despite a threat from US sanctions

New Delhi: India’s first squadron from the Missile System to Air-to-air Triumf which is strong will be operational in January-February next year, with the country now getting the initial delivery of air defense weapons from Russia despite the threat of US sanctions.
The S-400 system can detect, track and destroy strategic bombers, jets, spy planes, ballistic missiles, and drones in the range of 380-km.
The first squadron will be “deployed right in the west sector” to overcome air threats from Pakistan and China before they can enter the Indian airspace, the top sources said on Sundays.
Towards the Modi-Putin Summit here in early December, “Thousands of containers and packages” of the first S-400 squadron, including two missile batteries, long-distance acquisition and radar involvement and vehicles carrying all-terrain-erector, now sent to India through the route Air and sea.
“After sending the first squadron finished next month, the massive S-400 system will be assembled, established and then undergo the ‘test of receipt’ in front of Russian experts,” said a source.
The five cellular squadron from the S-400 automatic system, under a $ 5.43 billion contract (RS 40,000 Crore) inking Russia in October 2018, will be progressively delivered in 2023.
“They will serve the border with China and Pakistan as and airbase and places like New Delhi, “the source said.
The initial delivery of the S-400 system comes at certain times when there are still no signs of de-escalation in the 18-month military confrontation in East Ladakh.
China has mobilized at least two S-400 batteries, apart from several other anti-airplane systems, to overcome air strikes in India.
Toi was the first to report in January that India sent the IAF team to Russia for training in the S-400 operation and maintenance of the S-400 system, before the shipment began later this year, despite the threat of US sanctions under Caatsa (against America) enemies through sanctions).
Enacted in 2017, US law seeks to prevent the country to buy Russian weapons or Iranian oil.
The US has imposed financial sanctions in China and Turkey to trigger the S-400 system from Russia.
But India remains “quite confident” to get neglect from the Biden government on the grounds that the air defense system is a “urgent national security requirement” for that, given the two long borders that have not been resolved with China and Pakistan.
India has also convinced Washington, it will “never endanger the operational confidentiality” from a weapons system that has been purchased or will buy from the US, pointing to the notes that are not deleted from not passing the Military Information sensitive to a country to third parties, as reported by TOI previously.
One of the main US reasons for removing Turkey from the F-35 fighting program is the fact that the strong radar from the S-400 system is able to “map or record” aircraft data or other radars.
As a result, the stealth characteristics of the F-35, electronic warfare and other abilities can be analyzed by the S-400 system if they are operated together.
India also further turned to countries such as US, France and Israel because of their defense needs for years, very dislike Russia.
The US has pocketed a profitable Indian defense contract worth more than $ 21 billion since 2007, with several more offers in the pipe.
The S-400 is very important for India to establish missile shields to protect the installation and vital area.
While 36 Rafales armed with meteors and scalp missiles caused by the IAF under the RS 59,000 Crore agreement with France in September 2016 mainly intended for an offensive role, the S-400 system was defensive.
Each S-400 battery can be loaded with as many as 128 missiles, with 120, 200, 250 and 380-km interception ranges.
They can even intercept medium distance ballistic missiles at 4,800 meters per second.
