New Delhi: Leading a Meeting at UNSC in the “Middle East Peace Process”, including Palestinian questions, Harsh Shringla’s foreign secretary asked all parties with the conflict to respect the ceasefire and refrain from actions that could worsen tension and worsen the security of the situation.
Shringla led four security council meetings on Monday, the day before the end of the Indian council presidency.
Officials said India managed to direct the discussion during his president in Afghanistan, Myanmar, Syria, Yemen, and the Middle East peace process.
In the discussion of Palestinian issues, Shringla reaffirmed “strong and strong commitment of India” for the formation of a sovereign, independent and decent Palestinian state, in a safe, recognized and mutually agreed border, lived side by side with Israel with peace and security.
“We are worried about the recent escalation in Gaza Strip, which once again underlines the fragility of the ceasefire and the urgent need to overcome the underlying causes that have triggered escalation,” said Shringla.
“I reaffirmed India’s calls to transfer ordinary & predictable assistance & other important items to Gaza to relieve the humanitarian situation & facilitate the initial reconstruction, and for the use of assistance,” he added.
The Secretary of the Foreign Secretary also noted that the beginning of the beginning of direct peace negotiations was the best opportunity to resolve all final status problems and achieve ‘two countries’ solutions.
He said the decision by Israel to increase the number of work permits to Palestine would help strengthen the two economics.
Shringla also led a meeting with Mali sanction resolution which strongly condemned activities in Mali and the Sahel Isil (Da’esh) region and terrorist organizations related to Al-Qaida such as the Islamic State in West Africa Province (ISWAP), in Greater Sahara (ISGS), and Jama’at Nasr al-Islam Wal Muslimin (JNIM).
