India rejects the WTO text for a fisheries pact

New Delhi: India has rejected the latest draft for the agreement for lower fisheries subsidies in the World Trade Organization (WTO), on the grounds that it did not take advice to make even a regime and bias in countries such as Norway, China and Japan, Exploilding international waters.
The agreement on fisheries subsidies, is intended to make it sustainable, is the main push area for the discussion of the Minister of WTO later this month.
