New Delhi: India on Thursday reported 36,401 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, the UNI Health Ministry said.
The death toll rose to 4,33,049 with 530 fresh fatality.
Indian active cases have decreased to 3,64,129.
“Active case account for 1.13% of the total case; the lowest since March 2020,” said the Ministry of Health in a statement.
India’s current recovery rate is at 97.53%, the highest since March 2020.
Meanwhile, the coverage of Covid-19 vaccination has crossed a landmark 56 Crore.
56.64.88,433 Vaccine doses are given in the last 24 hours.
“With the average daily test of more than 17 lakh in August, India has tested 50 crore samples throughout the country.
India has reached a milestone from the last ten crore test in just 55 days,” said the Indian Medical Research Council (ICMR).
The weekly front level is recorded at 1.95 percent.
It has been under three percent for the past 55 days, according to the Ministry of Health.
Daily peposititivity levels have been less than 3% for the past 24 days.
Although nails in infections in some of the country’s bags, Covid’s daily cases in India gradually but continued to decline until August so far.
Tally Covid-19 India has passed a 20-lakh sign on August 7, 2020, 30 lakh on August 23, 40 lakh on 5 and 50 September on September 16.
Passing 60 lakh on September 28, 70 lakh on October 11, passed 80 lakh on October 29 90 lakh on November 20 and exceeded the one-crore sign on December 19.
