India, Russia see the ‘2 + 2’ dialogue with Summit Modi-Putin

New Delhi: The first edition of India-Russian-Russia ‘2 + 2’ The minister and foreign dialogue can be held with the Summit between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Vladimir Putin which tends to take place on December 6, people who are familiar with the development of words on Wednesday.
Both parties are looking at the ‘2 + 2’ dialog around the summit time mainly due to scheduling problems, they said.
Minister of External Minister S Jaishankar and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh is scheduled to hold a dialogue with their Russian colleagues Sergey Lavrov and Sergey Shoygu.
Jaisankar and Singh to travel to Moscow in the last week of November but the plan is being changed mainly because of the parliamentary winter session scheduled for November 29.
The two ministers also tended to travel to Washington for India – US.
‘2 + 2’ dialogue with Blinken Class State Secretary and Lloyd Austin defense later this month or early December.
But, the people quoted above, said talks now tend to be pushed to January.
Putin is likely to visit India for a bilateral summit with Modi on December 6.
Summit is expected to produce specific results in further bonds in the field of defense, trade and energy.
It is shared that both parties will determine a number of agreements in the fields of defense, trade and investment, and science and technology in the Summit.
The framework for military-technical cooperation will be extended for the next decade at the Summit in addition to announcing a joint commission on technology and science.
India and Russia have also achieved the final phase of negotiations for logistics support agreements and the possibility of being signed well during two-plus-two talks or at the top.
This pact will allow the military from both countries to use their respective bases for improvement and filling inventory, in addition to facilitating the increase in overall defense cooperation.
The ongoing humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan and the implications of the takeover of the Kabul Taliban for regional security is also expected to stand out in the Summit.
The summit was postponed last year due to Covid-19 pandemic.
The two countries have a mechanism where Indian Prime Minister and Russian President hold a summit every year to review the entire bonding gamut.
So far 20 annual peak meetings have taken place as alternatives in India and Russia.
Russia has become a partner tested for time for India and the main pillar of New Delhi foreign policy.
