New Delhi: India, Germany, Qatar, Turkey and several other countries have reaffirmed not to recognize government in Afghanistan imposed through the use of military forces and calls for a direct end of the violence and attacks in the war-stricken country.
A statement issued by Qatar on Friday after two separate meetings in Afghanistan in Doha said the participating countries agreed that the Afghan peace process needed to be accelerated as a “big urgency” problem.

J P Singh, a joint secretary in the Pakistani-Afghanistan-Iran Division at the External Ministry (MEA), represented India at the second meeting organized by Qatar.
“Participants raises serious concerns about reports from all Afghanistans in connection with sustainable violence, a large number of civilian casualties and extra-judicial murders, widespread accusations and credible from human rights violations, all attacks (land and air) against the capital and provincial city,” The Qatar Foreign Ministry said.

“Participants are committed to assisting in the reconstruction of Afghanistan after a decent political settlement achieved after good faith negotiations between the two parties,” said the statement.
Countries also mention convergent statements from both parties on the “guiding principles” for political settlement such as inclusive governance, respect for human rights, including women’s rights and minorities, mechanisms to provide representative governance, commitment to not Allows each individual or group to use Afghan land to threaten the security of other countries and respect international law.
“Participants call all sides of the Afghanistan to act in accordance with these principles and build them in political settlements in the future,” said the statement.
