New Delhi: The Ministry of External Affairs on Thursday slamed Pakistan for holding an assembly selection in Kashmir, which was occupied by Pakistan (POK), said that it was none other than the effort by neighboring countries to disguise “illegal work”.
Overcoming the briefing, the Ministry of Spokesman Arinindam Bagchi’s external affairs said that he had submitted a strong protest with Pakistan on this “cosmetic exercise”.
“The election called Indian territory under the illegal occupation of Pakistan is none other than efforts by Pakistan to disguise illegal work and material change carried out by him in these regions,” he said.
“Such sports cannot hide the illegal occupation by Pakistan or human rights violations, exploitation and rejection of freedom to people in these occupied areas,” he added.
The strong Indian response came a few days after Pakistan held elections with the legislative assembly in Kashmir who was occupied by Pakistan.
In the midst of the accusation of the poll by the opposition, the Pakistani Tehreek-I-Insaf (PTI) Party Imran had won 25 of the 45 seats in Pakistan, which was occupied by the Kashmir legislative election which was damaged by deadly violence.
Thousands of demonstrators touched the streets to protest Pakistani soldiers after the election manipulation report.
