Goa: Indian Navy Head Admiral Karambir Singh held a bilateral discussion with the commander of Sri Lanka Navy Vice Admiral Nishantha Ulugetenne on Tuesday.
They discuss modalities to further increase support and interoperability and maritime cooperation in sharing information.
“ADM Karambir Singh CNS held a bilateral discussion with VADM Nishantha Ulugetenne, Commander Navy Sri Lanka on modalities to further improve reciprocal support, interoperability, maritime cooperation on sharing info, training & work activities that are ongoing,” said the Indian Navy in the Indian Navy A tweet.
Admiral Karambir Singh met Vice-Admiral Nishantha Ulugetenne at Cave Maritime Conclary (GMC) -2021 which concluded on Tuesday.
In the conclave, Admiral Karambir Singh organized the head of the naval / maritime head of the 12 littoral Samudra Indies, including Bangladesh, Comoros, Indonesia, Madagascar, Malaysia, Maldives, Mauritius, Myanmar, Seychelles, Singapore, Sri Lanka, and Thailand.
