India, the US has a convergence of views to deal with the main global challenges: Jaisankar

New Delhi: Scenery of India and the US in handling major global challenges such as terrorism, pandemic and climate change are along the parallel path, the Minister of External Affairs S said Jaishankar on Thursday.
In an address in India the idea of the Summit held by the US-India Business Council (USIBC), he said the benefits of India as US main defense partners became clear.
“When it comes to defense and security, the benefits of India as the US main defense partners become clear.
Our collective quad commitment to maritime security is equally relevant,” he said.
In many major challenges of day – terrorism, pandemic and climate change – our thinking is along the parallel path.
We not only work together in global problems but dedicated to the welfare of global Commons.
Which provides the basis for coordinated actions, “Jaisankar added.
