New Delhi: The Indian government has issued orders to ban 54 Chinese applications on the grounds that this application poses a threat to national security.
54 Chinese Applications include Beauty Cameras: Sweet Selfie HD, Beauty Cameras – Selfie Camera, Equalizer & Bass Booster, Camcard for Salesforce Ent, Isoland 2: Abu Time Lite, Viva Video Editor, Onmyoji Chess, Onmyoji Arena, Applock, and Lite Double Room among others.
In June last year, India banned 59 Chinese cellular applications including Tiktok, Wechat and Helo.
Most of the applications banned in June 29 are marked by intelligence agencies than fears that they collect user data.
This action occurred after 20 Indian troops and a number of Chinese soldiers who were not determined were killed during the clash of violence in Galwan Valley in East Ladakh in the midst of border tensions with China.
Then in September, the government blocked 118 Chinese mobile applications.
China opposed India’s decision to continue the ban on Chinese cellular applications and said the action violated the non-discriminatory principles of the world trade organization.
