India to evacuate diplomatic staff, residents of Mazar-e-Sharif Afghanistan

New Delhi: The government on Tuesday appealed to all Indian citizens who lived in and around Mazar-e-Sharif Afghanistan to go to India.
The government’s movement to evacuate Indians came as a Taliban militant preparing to launch an attack to capture Mazar-e-Sharif.
“A special flight departed from Mazar-e-Sharif to New Delhi.
Every Indian citizen inside and around Mazar-e-Sharif was asked to go to India on a special flight scheduled to depart today, the Indian Indian Consulate General, Mazar-E -Sharif said on Twitter posts.
