PANAJI: The United Kingdom Strike Group (CSG) and Indian Navy held maritime exercises in Bengal Bay, the two countries said in a statement.
Maritime partnership exercises between the Indian Navy and the Kingdom Navy see two navies that carry out various multi-ship maritime evolution, air, sea and sub-surface, as well as, close the quarter of maneuver, the UK High Commission said.

This exercise allows both navies to advance their interoperability and cooperation ahead of the same maritime training later this year.

The Indian Navy said that routine interactions between the two navies had been added “interoperability and adaptability in a changeful security scenario.”
