New York: India on Monday (local time) chose to support the UN resolution to eradicate rural poverty to implement the 2030 agenda for sustainable development.
Sneha Dubey, India’s first secretary at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), said that “rural poverty eradication to implement the agenda 2030 for sustainable development is a very important and critical problem for my delegation and my country.” This statement was made after adoption of the resolution that eradicated rural poverty to implement the 2030 agenda for sustainable development.
“In India, we implement a comprehensive development strategy to eradicate poverty through accelerated economic growth and a broader social safety net, lifting millions of poverty in the past decade.
