New Delhi: India is likely to send a team of 3 members to participate in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Pakistan next week, TOI has learned.
Pabbi 2021 anti-terror exercise was held at the Pabbi in the district of Nowshera Pakistan from October 3 under the AEGIS regional anti-terrorist structure SCO (mouse) which seeks to promote counter-terrorism cooperation between SCO member countries.
The government believes its participation in the practice, the SCO event, will not be in whatever way it is contributed to the posist who continues to promote cross-border terrorism.
The presence of India although it will be seen as an important sign, it is attached to the role of regional blocks that focus on Asia in security related issues, especially in Afghanistan.
With Iran also joined the group, which consists of Russia, India, China, Pakistan and 4 Central Asian countries as full members, SCO is likely to play a key role in the efforts of political and diplomatic solutions to the situation in Afghanistan.

The SCO Dushanbe declaration earlier this month reaffirmed the ‘special role’ ‘of SCO mice in a joint war against terrorism, separatism and extremism to ensure regional security.
It also said that member countries will continue to carry out shared anti-terrorism exercises, including the upcoming 2021 anti-terror exercise.
