Ahmedabad: Responding to the petition submitted by the Indian Air Force Company (IAF) from Jamnagar claimed that the fundamental rights to choose not to be vaccinated, the center told the Gujarat High Court that the troops had refused to take the Covid19 vaccine.
The central government on Wednesday told the court that the employee who was fired was based in Rajasthan.
It did not divulge more details about the fired personnel.
The government said that Jab Covid had been made mandatory for all armed forces personnel.
Assistant Lawyer General Devang Vyas told the court that the nine IAF employees were reluctant to take a shot.
All of them are given notice shows, asking them to explain why their services should not be stopped because they ignore the command to be vaccinated.
Vyas said that eight employees answered notifications, and people who failed to respond to was fired.
Vyas is handling a court in response to the petition submitted by Corporal Yogender Kumar from Jamnagar.
Kumar was also notified after he refused to get vaccinations.
In Kumar prayer from his fundamental rights, the center proposed that he could approach the authority of the appeal or the armed forces not directly approach the High Court.
After hearing this case, the bench headed by justice, the Design wasted a copstral request and directed the IAF to consider his case again after checking all the material he reviewed.
The court ordered IAF to give a hearing and then decided the case within four weeks.
The High Court also ordered the IAF not to force the company to take the Covid-19 vaccine or his sack until the case was decided.
The court said every detrimental order from the IAF should not be implemented for two weeks from the date of the order presented to Corporal.
