Indian-American Doctors sending 5,000 oxygen concentrators into India

WASHINGTON: A Indian-American set of doctors is sending 5,000 oxygen concentrators into India to rescue the lives of those population infected with the coronavirus.

Even the recently-created Federation of Indian Physicians Association (FIPA) stated on Friday the 5,000 oxygen concentrators have been bought.

Of them, 450 units have reached Ahmedabad, 325 are in their way to Delhi along with 300 other people to Mumbai.

“These components must be obtained by local Indian spouses hospitals, makeshift isolation facilities, recently created cellular hospitals and hospitals to ensure local partners at the distant parts of India may make use of these components to offer oxygen into Covid patients as necessary,” stated DR Raj Bhayani, president FIPA.

Around 3,500 units are still waiting to be sent, he explained, including that FIPA has achieved into the embassy, along with also the ministry of Air and Air India to aid transfer these components instantly.

Bihar Aid intends to deliver air flow meters, cortical cylinders (D type), Oxygen concentrators, Pulse oximeter and sensor-based sanitising machines along with PSA (Pressure Swing Adsorption) oxygen production plants,” she explained.
