LONDON: Indian-American Samir Banerjee on Saturday stormed into the young Wimbledon final final.
He defeated Sascha Gueymard Wayenburg from France 7-6, 4-6, 6-2 to reach the final.
The first set between the two tennis players was back and forth, but in the end, Banerjee managed to hold it to win a set.
Sascha then invaded back to the match and he then won the second set of 6-4, sending the match to the third set and decided.
Banerjee then took his match to court and finally won the match, entering the Wimbledon final.
On Sunday, the Wimbledon finals will be contested between Novak Djokovic and the Seventh Seed Matteo studied.
Djokovic has won the Australian Open and the French Open this year and he has 19 grand slam titles for his name.
