New Delhi: Indian soldiers have asked for assistance from the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) to find children who are missing Miram Taron on their side and returns him as per protocol set, sources in the defense department say that on Thursday.
MP Arunachal Pradesh Tapir Gao said on Wednesday that PLA on Tuesday kidnapped a 17-year-old boy from India in the district of the country.
The source in the Defense Department said on Thursday that when the Indian Army received information about Taron, immediately contacted PLA through the mechanism set from the hotline informing that an individual, who collected plants and hunting, had been lost and could not be found.
Help from PLA has tried to find individuals on their side and returned him as per protocol set, the source records.
Gao said on Wednesday that the incident occurred near the place where the Tsangpo River entered India in Arunachal Pradesh.
Tsangpo was referred to as the afternoon at Arunachal Pradesh and Brahmaputra in Assam.
MP also said that he had informed the State Minister’s Union for Home Nisith Pramanik about the incident and asked him to take the necessary actions in this matter.
In September 2020, PLA had been kidnapped by five young men from Hulu Substairi Regency Arunachal Pradesh and released them after about a week.
The latest incident came when the Indian Army continued to be involved in the deadlock with PLA in East Ladakh since April 2020.
There were 14 military level talks between India and China to complete the deadlock.
However, the release process has not been carried out in the Hot Springs area, Department of Principles and Demchok in East Ladakh.
Each party currently has around 50,000 to 60,000 soldiers along the actual line of control (LAC) in East Ladakh.
India Shares LAC 3,400 Km Long with China from Ladakh to Arunachal Pradesh.
