Indian Army Reaches Children in Poonch

Jammu: Indian Army on Friday reached out to students from underprivileged groups and distributed stationery items to them under the ‘Bacche Padhe-Desh Badhe’ program on a forward post in Shahpur from Poonch District of Jammu and Kashmir.
Pro Defense Udhampur said, “A initiative conducted by the Indian Army Artillery Unit located in Kamsar in Poonch to support and motivate students from a humble background under ‘Bacche Padhe-Desh Badhe’ which aims to involve children in Educational and constructive activities.
” He said, “A total of 28 students from class 1 to 12 attended the camp and were given stationery.” “Students express their gratitude to the Indian army for assistance provided to all strata of society in areas near the control line (LOC),” Army spokesman added.
Pro Defense said, “This will greatly help the hearts and minds of the local population.”
