Hyderabad: Governor of Telangana and Chancellor from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (Jntuh) Tamilisai Soundararajan on Sunday said that maybe Indians took the original vaccine for Covid-19 when India moved forward in the fields of education, technology and research.
Speaking at the opening of the Golden Jubilee Pylon to mark the beginning of the celebration of Jobel Golden Jntuh at the Varsity Campus, Soundararajan said that it was a matter of pride that many presidents of developing countries have imported vaccines from India.
“It is the pride that universities like Jntuh have been given to the country,” he said, and added that the scheme such as Make In India, Indian start-up combined with technology helped the country moving forward.
He said that in the past five decades, Jntuh has added new ideas, new dimensions and advanced technology to make students updated with the latest developments.
