New Delhi: Members of the Indian Cricket Team (both men and women) are behind the contingent of the country’s Olympics and urge residents to maintain the morale of high athletes.

And # Cheer4India.” The Indian Olympic Association (IOA) has confirmed that Mary Kom’s boxer and the Manpreet Singh Man’s hockey team will be a flag bearer for the Indian contingent at the upcoming Tokyo Olympics.
Wrestler Bajrang Punia will be a flag bearer at the closing ceremony.
“The flag carrier for the Tokyo 2020 Indian contingent for the opening ceremony on July 23 is Mary Kom and Manpreet Singh,” said President IOA Narinder Batra in an official letter.
“The Flagbearer for the Indian contingent at the closing ceremony on August 8 will be Bajrang Punia,” the letter was stated again.
Batra also confirmed that the total contingent for the Olympics will be around 126 athletes and 75 officials.
The contingent consists of 56 percent of men and 44 percent of women.
It has 76 quota places and will compete in around 85 medal positions.
The Indian contingent will leave for Tokyo on July 17.
